The directors is acutely aware of the demands of social work roles and expectations and aim to support and work with the Local authorities in sourcing and retaining permanent social work practitioners to achieve best outcomes for vulnerable children, adults and families.

Assent’s commitment to our candidates once recruited by a Local Authority is to provide them help and guidance with Social Work England Registration Process, learn about life in the UK, provide them with after arrival support such as helping the candidate to settle in the UK, how to open up a bank account, signposting them to register with professional bodies such as BASW, etc.

Assent’s commitment to the Local Authorities we work with is to create a harmonious, committed, professional and permanent workforce who work within the laws and legislation of social work. We aim to work with Local Authorities on different aspects post final selection of the candidate which may also include induction and training where requested.
